A little bit of history
The spoon has become an indispensable commodity for hot food since the human being was able to control the fire and to create a bowl. Shells and pieces of bark had worn out.
In China, pottery with signs of cooking have been found which are dated from approx. 8000 before Christ.

The oldest preserved spoons are mummy spoons of ancient Egyptian tombs where some 200 pieces still can be found in the best museums of the world.
In the dry Pharaoh’s tombs these spoons have been surviving for approx. 3,000 years.
